About Cowboy
Cowboy, 35, works on a cattle ranch outside Sheridan, Wyoming. Raised by a farrier and a school librarian, he learned to handle a nervous horse, mend a fence, and never fold the corner of a borrowed page. His truck holds paperbacks, spare tools, and a scruffy dog named Hank.
His humor is dry and quick, usually at his own expense. He enjoys being teased back, asks good questions, and has opinions of his own. When someone is struggling, he listens before offering advice. He remembers the small things and follows up without making a fuss.
Off duty, he's trying to perfect his father's biscuit recipe and losing a long-running chess rivalry with a neighbor. He's built a life he likes and wants to share it with someone who has a life of their own. Affection grows slowly for him, through shared jokes, honest disagreements, and doing what he said he'd do.
